ChanceMap Refund Policy
Last Updated Date: October 6, 2026
This Refund Policy explains how free trials, cancellations, and refunds work for paid plans purchased for ChanceMap. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms.
ALL PAYMENTS ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE, INCLUDING FOR PARTIALLY USED BILLING PERIODS, EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN SECTION 4 (WHEN WE DO REFUND) OR AS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW. CANCELLING A SUBSCRIPTION STOPS FUTURE CHARGES BUT DOES NOT ENTITLE YOU TO A REFUND OF AMOUNTS ALREADY PAID.
1. Free trials
Where a plan includes a free trial, you are not charged during the trial, and the date of your first charge is shown before you start. To avoid being charged, cancel before the trial ends from Account → Plan & billing. Cancelling during a trial ends access to paid features immediately. Each person and payment method may use one free trial.
2. All sales are final
Because the trial lets you evaluate paid features before paying, and digital access begins as soon as you purchase, all payments are final and non-refundable, including for partially used billing periods, unused time on a one-time pass, and periods in which you did not use the Service, except as set out in Section 4.
3. Cancelling
3.1 Subscriptions. You can cancel anytime from Account → Plan & billing or through the link in your receipt email. Cancellation stops all future charges; you keep access to paid features until the end of the billing period you already paid for. We do not provide prorated refunds for the remainder of a period.
3.2 One-time passes. The Cycle Pass is a single payment that never renews, so there is nothing to cancel. It gives access until the date shown at purchase.
4. When we do refund
We will refund, in full or in part as appropriate:
- Billing errors: duplicate charges, or a charge for the wrong amount.
- Charges after cancellation: a renewal charge made after you had already cancelled before the renewal date.
- Service failure: if paid features are unavailable for an extended period because of a problem on our side and we cannot fix it.
- Termination without cause: the unused portion of a prepaid plan if we close your account without cause (see Terms, Section 11.2).
- Where the law requires it: see Section 5.
5. Your legal rights
Some laws give consumers a right to cancel online purchases within a short period (for example, the 14-day right of withdrawal in the European Union and United Kingdom, or the derecho de retracto under Colombian Law 1480 of 2011). When you purchase, you request that access to paid features begin immediately and acknowledge that, where the law allows, you lose this right once access has started. If a law that applies to you gives you a refund right that cannot be waived, we will honor it. Nothing in this policy limits your mandatory consumer rights.
6. How to request a refund
Email support@chancemap.app from the address on your receipt (or include the date and amount of the charge) and tell us what happened. We reply within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued by our reseller (currently Gumroad, Inc. or Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record for your order) to the original payment method, and usually appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
If you see a charge you don't recognize, please contact us before disputing it with your bank; we can usually resolve it faster. Chargebacks filed for charges that are valid under this policy may lead to suspension of paid access.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. Changes apply to purchases made after the update is posted. See also our Terms of Service and Pricing.
